TAVISTOCK - The Intercounty Major Baseball League is pleased to release the 2002 First and Second All-Star Teams, as well as the League's Most Valuable Player and Best Rookie. The awards were chosen by the field managers, and the all-star voting was decided on a five-three point system. Teams are not permitted to vote for their own players.

Most Valuable Player
Luke Baker, Kitchener 32
Baker had a breakout season batting .422, second behind teammate Jeff Pietraszko. Baker also knocked in 34 runs and belted 7 home runs.
Rookie of the Year
Brad Grievison, Barrie 37
Grievison had an outstanding season, posting a 1.88 ERA with a 6 and 2 record for the upstart Baycats. He also stuck out 61 and walked only 10.
There were no unanimous selections this year (45 points).
